Sponsor a blog article

A sponsorship puts a clearly labeled "Sponsored" block with your logo, banner, tagline and link on the articles you choose. You pay one monthly price per article, and you can add or remove articles at any time.

From sign-up to a live block

  1. Go to discoverseniorbenefits.com/for-sponsors and select "Sponsor an article". If you already have a business account, select "Sponsor an article" on your Overview page instead; the form arrives pre-filled.
  2. Fill in "Business name", "Email", "Category", "Tagline (optional)" and "Link URL", accept the advertising policy, and select "Create my sponsor account".
  3. Wait for review. "Review status" on the Sponsorships page reads "Awaiting review", then "Approved". There is no charge to be reviewed, and you can set up articles and creative while you wait.
  4. Open "Articles", select the articles you want, then select "Pay now". It is disabled until the review is approved.
  5. Complete the Stripe Checkout. Your block appears on the chosen articles within a minute or two.

Your numbers

The Sponsorships page shows "Review status", "Articles selected" and "Billing". Once a sponsorship is active, "Your last 30 days" follows with six tiles: "Impressions", "Clicks", "Click rate", "Readers", "Details clicks" and "Articles reached". The "30d" and "90d" buttons change the period, a thin line under the tiles shows impressions by day, and "By article" lists each article with its own counts.

Below it, "Monthly report" has the same numbers month by month, and "Monthly report email" turns the monthly email on or off.

Counts only. You never see who read an article or clicked.

What each tile means

"Impressions": how many times your block was shown. Each reader counts once per day on each article.

"Clicks": how many times a reader selected "Visit website". "Click rate" is clicks divided by impressions.

"Readers": how many people opened an article carrying your block, counted once per person per day. It is usually higher than impressions, because it includes readers from days before your sponsorship started and readers who left before reaching the block.

"Details clicks": how many times a reader opened your directory profile from the block's "View details" link. The link appears only when the same business also has a live directory listing.

"Articles reached": how many of your articles showed the block at least once in the period.

The block is always labeled as sponsored, always sits apart from the article text, and never appears in benefit results or changes them. Articles are written independently; sponsors do not review, edit or suggest article content.
