Who it's for
LIHEAP helps low-income households pay heating and cooling bills and handle utility emergencies. In Pinal County it is delivered by the local Community Action Agency (CAHRA) under the Arizona Department of Economic Security. Heating help runs December through March and cooling help April through November. Apply through the local Community Action Agency; call 1-520-466-1112 (CAHRA) or the Arizona LIHEAP line at 1-866-494-1981.
LIHEAP is income-based (federal poverty / state median income guidelines). Funds are limited and applications are handled through the local Community Action Agency.
