How to apply for Arizona Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP)

Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) — Arizona Farmers Market Nutrition Program

Who it's for

This program gives Arizona residents age 60 or older a $50 coupon (once a year) to buy fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs from participating farmers. Household income must be at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (about $2,461/month for one person, $3,337 for two), or you can qualify by being in the Commodity Senior Food Program. Coupons are first-come, first-served and mailed to eligible seniors. Apply through the Arizona Farmers Market Nutrition Program.

A once-a-year $50 coupon benefit. Income limits reflect 185% of the Federal Poverty Level; being enrolled in the Commodity Senior Food Program also qualifies you. Coupons are first-come, first-served and may be waitlisted when funds run out; they are mailed to recipients. The application window generally closes September 30.
