How to apply for Arizona State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) — Medicare Counseling

Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES), Division of Aging and Adult Services — delivered through the Area Agencies on Aging

Who it's for

Arizona's SHIP gives free, unbiased Medicare counseling. Trained counselors help compare Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Part D drug plans, and Medigap, and help enroll in programs that lower Medicare costs (Extra Help and the Medicare Savings Program). Counselors do not sell or endorse any plan. Call 1-800-432-4040.

A free counseling service for Medicare beneficiaries and their families and caregivers — no income or asset test. Counselors are not licensed agents and do not sell plans. The value is in informed plan choices and the cost-saving programs counselors help you enroll in.
