How to apply for Low-Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP) for Marshall County

South Central Human Resource Agency (SCHRA), which delivers Tennessee LIHEAP for the South Central region under the Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA).

Who it's for

Tennessee's Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps pay heating and cooling costs for income-eligible households. In Marshall County, LIHEAP is delivered by the South Central Human Resource Agency (SCHRA). Households with an older adult (60+) or a person with a disability get priority. Apply through the South Central Human Resource Agency, and call 2-1-1 Tennessee for referral help. The Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) administers the program statewide at thda.org.
