How to apply for Pitt Area Transit System (PATS) Senior and Disabled Rides (Pitt County)
Pitt Area Transit System (PATS), the Pitt County NCDOT-funded Community Transportation System, with the City of Greenville's GREAT bus system serving Greenville.
Who it's for
Pitt County residents who are age 60 or older or who have a disability can get rides through the Pitt Area Transit System (PATS), the county's Community Transportation System for people living outside Greenville's city limits. Rides go to medical appointments, pharmacies, shopping, and senior nutrition sites and must be booked at least one business day ahead. The Pitt County Council on Aging helps cover ride costs for residents age 60 and older who are not on Medicaid. Inside Greenville, the GREAT city bus and its paratransit serve riders. Call PATS to check eligibility and fares.
Pitt: PATS serves residents outside Greenville city limits; the Council on Aging covers ride costs for some riders 60+. Greenville residents use the GREAT bus and its paratransit. Fares vary by trip.
