How to apply for Regional Coordinated Area Transportation System Senior and Disabled Rides (Randolph County)

Regional Coordinated Area Transportation System (RCATS), operated by the Randolph County Senior Adults Association, the county's NCDOT-funded public transportation provider.

Who it's for

The Regional Coordinated Area Transportation System (RCATS) provides curb-to-curb public transportation to all Randolph County residents by advance reservation. Rides are free for residents age 60 and older; other riders pay a low fare. RCATS serves older adults, people with disabilities, and the general public for in-town and in-county trips such as medical appointments, shopping, and visits, plus scheduled out-of-county medical trips. Schedule rides at least three working days ahead by calling 336-629-7433.

Randolph: RCATS rides are free for residents 60+ and low-cost for others; trips must be reserved at least three working days ahead and are subject to a weekly trip limit.
