How to apply for Space Coast Area Transit Senior Reduced Fare (60+)

Space Coast Area Transit (SCAT), a Brevard County government department — branded as 321Transit

Who it's for

Space Coast Area Transit (SCAT) is Brevard County's public fixed-route bus system, branded as 321Transit. Distinctively among Florida transit systems, SCAT's reduced senior fare starts at age 60 — matching only Tallahassee's StarMetro for the lowest senior-fare age threshold in the state. Riders 60 and older pay $0.75 per one-way trip (half the standard $1.50 adult fare), or $12.00 for a 10-Ride Pass and $42.00 for a 30-Day Pass — all at the reduced rate. The same reduced-fare category covers students, active or inactive military, and individuals registered for SCAT's TD or ADA Paratransit programs. To get the reduced rate, present a Medicare card OR a SCAT-issued Reduced Fare ID Card OR another acceptable proof at the farebox. Apply for the Reduced Fare ID Card by phone at 321-635-7815 ext. 52935 or in person at a SCAT transit terminal; passes are also sold at select Brevard County Libraries and by mail.
