Maryland SHIP counselors give free, unbiased help with Medicare: comparing Part D and Advantage plans, applying for Extra Help and Medicare Savings Programs, and untangling bills and appeals. Counseling is delivered through every local Area Agency on Aging. Call 1-800-243-3425 to reach the program.

Counseling is free for Medicare beneficiaries of any age and their caregivers.
