How to apply for Senior Prescription Drug Assistance Program (SPDAP) — Maryland
Maryland Senior Prescription Drug Assistance Program
Who it's for
SPDAP pays up to $100 a month toward the Medicare Part D or Medicare Advantage drug-plan premium for moderate-income Maryland residents on Medicare. Members must live in Maryland (at least six months), be enrolled in a Part D plan, and not receive full federal Extra Help or Medicaid. Income must be under the program's cap (about three times the federal poverty level — call for the current dollar amounts). Apply by mail or phone: 1-800-551-5995.
The income cap is set by the program (roughly 300% of the federal poverty level) and is not screened in dollars here — SPDAP determines eligibility on application.
