How to apply for Energy Assistance Program intake (Inter-County Community Council) — Polk
Inter-County Community Council (local EAP service provider)
Who it's for
Inter-County Community Council takes Minnesota Energy Assistance Program applications for Polk County residents — help paying heating bills, crisis help, and emergency furnace repair. Household income must be at or below 50% of the state median income (see the statewide Energy Assistance record for details). The heating season program runs October 1 through May 31. Call 218-796-5144 ext. 4 to apply through the local provider.
Income limits reset each October; the local provider determines the benefit. Statewide dollar screening lives on mn.state.eap.
