Who it's for
Lincoln County Human Services offers Senior Citizen Services to anyone over the age of 60. Services include rides to doctor visits on the Lincoln County Bus, food help as needed, and weekday lunches at the Alamo, Caliente and Pioche Senior Centers. Meals-on-Wheels and certified homebound meals are also available. There is a suggested donation of $3.00 per meal for people over 60. Call the Human Services office at 775-962-8084 to make a meal reservation one day ahead or to set up a ride. For help finding other aging and disability services, Nevada Care Connection (Jewish Family Service Agency) serves Lincoln County at 702-933-1191.
Senior center meals and rides are free or donation-based for people over 60; people under 60 may be asked for a higher donation. Medicaid long-term care eligibility is decided by the State of Nevada.
