How to apply for AAA7 Home Repair Program (Adams County)
Area Agency on Aging District 7 (AAA7), the designated Area Agency on Aging for PSA 7 in southern Ohio, serving Adams, Brown, Gallia, Highland, Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Ross, Scioto and Vinton counties.
Who it's for
Repairs and accessibility work on the homes of older adults so they can stay put safely. Covered work includes repairing or replacing heating systems, plumbing, hot water tanks, water lines, electrical systems, roofs, floors and walls, plus ramps, wider doorways, and bathroom and kitchen modifications for accessibility. AAA7's published test is that someone age 60 or older lives in the home needing repairs, and that the entire household income is at or below 50% of the county median income OR at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level — whichever you meet. You must be the homeowner of record or hold a recorded life estate or life lease. The income screen used here is a deliberately generous outer bound; AAA7 confirms the exact figures at application, and funding is limited.
