How to apply for ComCare In-Home Services (Montgomery County)

Area Agency on Aging, PSA 2 (Dayton) — ComCare, funded by the Montgomery County Human Services Levy

Who it's for

ComCare is a long-term care program for Montgomery County residents age 60 and older who need a limited amount of help to keep living at home. After an in-home assessment by the Area Agency on Aging, PSA 2, services such as personal care and household chores are arranged, with a sliding-scale fee based on income and assets (many pay nothing). There may be a waiting list. Call 937-223-HELP (937-223-4357) to request an assessment.

Enrollment depends on the level of care found at the in-home assessment, not just age; the fee, if any, is set from income and assets at that visit, and there may be a waiting list.
