How to apply for LIHEAP energy assistance (ACCESS) — Jackson

Who it's for

ACCESS runs the Energy Assistance Program for Jackson County. Eligible households can get a one-time payment (usually once per program year) toward any type of energy bill — electric, natural gas, propane, oil or wood — and there is no need to be facing a shutoff. Household income must be at or below 60% of Oregon's median income. For the new program year, phone lines open October 1, and October 19–30, 2026 is priority scheduling for seniors and people with disabilities (scheduling opens to everyone November 2). Call 541-779-9020 to be screened and book an appointment.
