How to apply for Central Arizona Regional Transit and Cotton Express — Pinal County Senior and Disabled Riders

City of Coolidge Transit Department operating Central Arizona Regional Transit (CART) and Cotton Express, coordinated with Pinal County

Who it's for

Central Arizona Regional Transit (CART) runs intercity bus service between Casa Grande, Coolidge, Florence, and Eloy, and Cotton Express runs local Coolidge routes. Reduced fares are available for seniors and riders with disabilities, and dial-a-ride / demand-response trips serve those who cannot use fixed routes. Many Pinal County senior centers also run van rides to meals and medical visits through the Region V Area Agency on Aging. Call 1-520-723-7195 or the Pinal County transit line for schedules, fares, and dial-a-ride eligibility.

Reduced-fare age and dial-a-ride service areas are set by the transit operator and may vary by route. Confirm fares and coverage before travel.

What you'll need

  • Proof of age or documentation of a disability for reduced fare / dial-a-ride
  • For dial-a-ride: an eligibility application with the transit provider
