Does paying change benefit results?
No. Eligibility results come from fixed rules tied to government sources. Listings appear only in the separate local-resources sections, and no business can pay to appear in, or change, anyone's benefit results.
What does the Verified Resource badge mean?
A reviewer has checked the business's identity, contact details and service area, and any license where one applies. It is not an endorsement or a guarantee of service quality. Verification is renewed every year.
Is the Basic listing really free?
Yes. A Basic listing shows the business name, category, phone number, street address and a short description, in one county, at no cost. Basic listings appear in the Services directory, below Verified and Featured listings. The local-resources box after an eligibility check and on county benefit pages shows only Verified and Featured listings.
How is the order of listings decided?
Featured listings come first, then Verified, then Basic. Inside each level the order rotates daily, so every business at the same level gets a fair turn at the top.
What do businesses see about visitors?
Counts only: how often the listing was shown, profile views, and website, phone and directions clicks. Businesses never see who visited, and nothing from anyone's eligibility check is ever shared.
How do I cancel?
Cancel any time from the business dashboard. Paid features stay on until the end of the billing period, then the listing returns to Basic.
My business is already listed. What now?
Search for it below and choose Claim this listing. After a quick email check and review, you can edit the listing and upgrade it.
