How to apply for Sonoma County Paratransit (ADA, Sonoma County)

Sonoma County Transit (SCT)

Who it's for

Sonoma County Paratransit is the ADA complementary paratransit service for people whose physical or cognitive impairment makes them unable to use Sonoma County Transit's lift-equipped fixed-route buses independently for some or all trips. Eligibility is functional, not age-based. To apply, call SCT Paratransit at 1-707-565-7433 to have an application mailed; submit the completed application by mail to Sonoma County Transit at 355 W. Robles Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95407, or by email to sct-paratransit@sonomacounty.gov. Eligibility is determined within 21 days of receiving a complete application. The City of Santa Rosa also operates its own paratransit (reachable at 707-546-1999) for trips within its city service area.

ADA paratransit eligibility is functional (physical or cognitive impairment that prevents independent use of lift-equipped SCT fixed-route buses) and is determined by SCT within 21 days of receiving a complete application. This check cannot perform that assessment. Request an application by calling 1-707-565-7433 or emailing sct-paratransit@sonomacounty.gov.
