How to apply for Sonoma County Transit Senior Reduced Fare
Sonoma County Transit (SCT)
Who it's for
Sonoma County Transit (SCT) runs the public bus system serving Sonoma County. Riders 65 and older qualify for a Senior Clipper card, which gives a 50% discount on SCT fares (the Senior Clipper minimum balance to board is $1.50, half the $3.00 Adult Clipper minimum). The Senior Clipper card does not expire. Apply online through clippercard.com or at any participating transit office in the Bay Area; SCT's office is at 355 W. Robles Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95407. Customers age 65+ are routed to the Senior Clipper card (rather than the older Clipper Access Discount program, which no longer issues cards to 65+ riders).
What you'll need
- Proof of age 65+ (California driver's license, state ID card, Medicare card, or passport showing date of birth)
