How to apply for General Assistance (Yuba County)

Yuba County Health & Human Services Department

Who it's for

Yuba County General Assistance (GA) is a county-funded cash-assistance program that helps needy persons who are not eligible for federal or state cash-assistance programs. For a low-income senior it is mainly a bridge while a Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI) claim is pending. The Public Assistance Eligibility staff reviews each application through a telephone, mail-in, or face-to-face interview. To apply or for more information, call 1-530-749-6311 or visit the office at 5730 Packard Avenue, Suite 100, Marysville, CA 95901.

Yuba County GA has conditions the scan cannot check for you: you must be a needy Yuba County resident who is not eligible for federal or state cash assistance. Applications are reviewed through telephone, mail-in, or face-to-face interview. The yuba.gov GA page does not publish a maximum monthly grant amount. Apply by calling 1-530-749-6311 or in person at 5730 Packard Avenue, Suite 100, Marysville.
