How to apply for Collier Area Transit (CAT) Senior Reduced Fare

Collier Area Transit (CAT), a Collier County government department

Who it's for

Collier Area Transit (CAT) is Collier County's public fixed-route bus system, serving Naples, Marco Island, Immokalee, Golden Gate, and surrounding communities. Riders age 65 and older qualify for a reduced fare of $1.00 per one-way trip (half the standard adult fare). To use the reduced rate, present proof of age at boarding (Medicare card, Florida driver's license, Florida ID, or U.S. passport). For frequent riders using the rideCAT app or website passes, set up your account first, then visit a CAT transfer station to show identification — once verified, the senior discount is loaded onto your account for one year. Customer service is available at (239) 252-7777, Monday through Saturday 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
