How to apply for ACCESS LYNX ADA Paratransit

Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) — Eligibility Department

Who it's for

ACCESS LYNX is the shared-ride, door-to-door paratransit service for people in Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties who cannot use regular LYNX buses because of a disability or other limitation. Apply by mail using the ACCESS LYNX application; call 407-423-8747 with questions or to schedule trips once approved. Service availability depends on your address relative to the LYNX network — call to confirm coverage for your location.

ACCESS LYNX eligibility is decided through the mail-in application, possible medical verification, and possible in-person functional assessment. The engine can confirm you appear functionally eligible to apply, but the final determination is made by LYNX after the assessment. Service is limited to trips where both origin AND destination are within 3/4 mile of a LYNX fixed-route bus alignment. Apply at least a week before any medical appointment by calling (407) 423-8747 Option 6. The same application handles ADA paratransit AND Florida Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) eligibility.
