How to apply for Palm Tran Senior Reduced Fare
Palm Tran (Palm Beach County's public bus transit system)
Who it's for
Palm Tran is Palm Beach County's public fixed-route bus system. Riders age 65 and older qualify for the reduced fare — $1.00 per single one-way ride, half the standard adult cash fare — by showing a valid Florida driver's license or Florida State ID card at the farebox. No advance application or specialty card is required: proof of age at boarding is enough. For frequent riders, an All-Day Pass costs $3.50 and a 31-Day Pass costs $55, both at the reduced-rate price. Passes are sold at Palm Tran kiosks, the Intermodal Transit Center, county libraries, the Palm Tran administrative office at 50 S. Military Trail, and online. Customer service: 561-841-4287 or toll-free 877-930-4287.
