How to apply for PCPT ADA Paratransit

Pasco County Public Transportation (PCPT)

Who it's for

Pasco County Public Transportation operates ADA paratransit (Demand Response) service for Pasco County residents whose disability prevents them from using the GoPasco fixed-route bus system. The service is door-to-door, shared-ride van transportation operating in parallel with regular bus service hours and area. Eligibility is decided through a paratransit application; if you have a viable disability you also complete the ADA Paratransit application as an additional step. PCPT processes applications within 21 days and notifies applicants via mail. Mail completed applications with required documents to PCPT Admin Office, 8620 Galen Wilson Blvd, Port Richey, FL 34668. Paratransit fares range from $0 to $3 per trip depending on the program category you're enrolled under (ADA paratransit, Transportation Disadvantaged, or other state-funded programs). Personal care attendants ride free.

PCPT paratransit eligibility is decided through the paratransit application and (for ADA pathway) additional ADA application — not by diagnosis or age alone. This scan can tell you that you appear functionally eligible to apply. Determination is mailed within 21 days. The fare you actually pay ($0 to $3) depends on which sub-program you're enrolled in (ADA, Transportation Disadvantaged, or other state-funded category) — PCPT's eligibility worker assigns you to the most favorable category that fits your situation.
