How to apply for Breeze Transit Senior Reduced Fare (Sarasota County)
Sarasota County Breeze Transit (formerly Sarasota County Area Transit / SCAT)
Who it's for
Breeze Transit is Sarasota County's public bus system. Riders 65 and older and Medicare cardholders pay half fare — $0.75 instead of the regular $1.50 — by showing ID (or a Gold Card, which seniors 65+ and Medicare cardholders can apply for). Riders 80 and older ride FREE on Breeze services. Show your ID or Medicare card to the driver or a ticket outlet agent.
