How to apply for LYNX AdvantAge Senior Reduced Fare (Seminole County)
Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX)
Who it's for
LYNX is the public bus transit system serving Central Florida — Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties — under one regional transit authority. For Seminole County residents in Sanford, Altamonte Springs, Lake Mary, Winter Springs, Casselberry, Longwood, Oviedo, and surrounding communities, the same LYNX fare structure applies as in Orange. Riders age 65 and older qualify for the AdvantAge reduced-fare program: $1.00 per one-way trip versus the standard $2.00 adult fare, plus discounted multi-ride passes. The AdvantAge ID is a free photo card that confirms eligibility — to enroll, bring proof of age (Medicare card, birth certificate, or government-issued photo ID) to the LYNX Customer Service Center at 455 N. Garland Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801 (Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.). The card is processed within 5-7 business days. Until your AdvantAge ID arrives, you can show acceptable proof of age at the farebox to get the reduced rate.
