The Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority (MTA) runs fixed-route buses in Macon and Bibb County. Riders 62 and older pay the reduced/senior fare: $0.60 for one ride ($0.75 with a transfer), $6.00 for 10 rides, or $10.00 for 20 rides. Show ID when asked. MTA Paratransit gives non-emergency rides to people who cannot use the fixed-route bus because of a disability or medical condition; riders must apply first, and a one-way trip costs $2.50.
