Clinton County public transportation is South Central Transit (SCT), the South Central Illinois Mass Transit District serving Clinton, Marion, Jefferson, Washington, Franklin, and Perry counties. SCT runs deviated fixed routes and demand-response curb-to-curb service across the county (Carlyle, Breese, Trenton, New Baden, Aviston). Seniors and people with disabilities ride at reduced fares; the Illinois Benefit Access Program adds free/reduced fares for income-eligible riders 65+.
