Who it's for

DeKalb County public transportation is TransVAC, operated by the Voluntary Action Center (serving DeKalb, Sycamore, Genoa, Sandwich, and Northern Illinois University). DISTINCTIVELY, seniors age 60+, people with disabilities, and Medicaid cardholders ride FARE-FREE on TransVAC; the general public pays a modest fare. NIU also runs the Huskie Line campus buses.
