Madison County public transportation is Madison County Transit (MCT), a fixed-route bus and trail network (Alton / Edwardsville / Granite City / Wood River) connecting to MetroLink and St. Louis. DISTINCTIVELY, seniors age 65+ qualify for an MCT Senior Free Ride ID — FREE rides in Madison County and half fare in St. Clair County and Missouri. The Illinois Benefit Access Program also provides free/reduced fares. ADA paratransit is available.
