Perry County public transportation is the South Central Illinois Mass Transit District (South Central Transit), the regional provider for six counties (Clinton, Franklin, Jefferson, Marion, Perry, Washington), with offering rides for medical appointments, senior centers, and essential errands across Perry County (Pinckneyville, Du Quoin, Tamaroa, Cutler, Willisville). Seniors and people with disabilities ride at reduced fares; the Illinois Benefit Access Program (Illinois Department on Aging) provides additional free/reduced fares for income-eligible riders 65+. Schedule demand-response rides in advance.
