Who it's for
Randolph County public transportation is the Monroe Randolph Transit District (MRTD), the primary provider for Randolph and Monroe counties — demand-response curb-to-curb service (call to schedule) on ADA lift-equipped vehicles serving Chester, Sparta, Red Bud, Steeleville, and beyond. MRTD also runs the MRTD Express toward the St. Clair County Transit District / MetroLink. The Illinois Benefit Access Program adds free/reduced fares for income-eligible riders 65+.
