How to apply for Whitewater Valley Regional Transit (Fayette County)
Whitewater Valley Regional Transit — public transportation for Union, Fayette, and rural Wayne counties.
Who it's for
Whitewater Valley Regional Transit took over Fayette County public transportation in January 2025. Anyone can ride — there is no age requirement. Fares are zone-based with exact change: $2.00 within Connersville, up to $5.00 for trips out to the county line. Buses run Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Register and reserve by calling (765) 458-7277 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., at least 24 hours ahead. Medicaid members may qualify for free medical rides through their Medicaid transportation broker.
Fayette: open to everyone. Call (765) 458-7277 (8 a.m.-4 p.m., Mon-Fri) to register and book 24 hours ahead; bring exact change ($2-$5 by zone).
