Step by step

3. Apply online through the Indiana FSSA Division of Aging's application portal, OR call the INconnect Alliance at 1-800-986-3505 to apply by phone.
4. If you prefer local help, contact your regional Area Agency on Aging (AAA) directly — there are 16 AAAs across Indiana, and staff can guide you through the process.
5. Complete any follow-up steps your AAA requests, such as a phone interview or additional paperwork about your caregiving needs.
6. Ask your AAA contact about priority criteria if you are seeking respite care or supplemental services, as those specific services may have additional eligibility considerations.
