How to apply for Public transportation (SEK-CAP) — Neosho in Kansas
Southeast Kansas Community Action Program (SEK-CAP)
Who it's for
SEK-CAP runs a door-to-door public ride service in Neosho County that anyone can use, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If the ride starts in Neosho County, you can travel to any bordering county. Call 620-724-6350 at least one day ahead (1 to 7 days is best) to schedule; same-day rides depend on space. SEK-CAP suggests a $1.00 donation per trip, but no one is turned away for not being able to pay.
Service areas, hours, and fares are set by the transit provider; call ahead to schedule and ask about senior or disability fares.
People who qualify for one senior program often qualify for others. See everything you may qualify for — free, no SSN, about five minutes.
