How to apply for Gateway Senior Center & Nutrition Services
Gateway Area Agency on Aging & Independent Living (Gateway Area Development District)
Who it's for
Through the Gateway Area Agency on Aging & Independent Living, Kentuckians 60 and older in Bath County can use Older Americans Act (Title III) aging services. These include in-home services that support independent living, elder services (legal assistance, Medicare counseling / SHIP), caregiver support and respite care, the long-term-care ombudsman, and elder-abuse prevention, with a no-cost intake line that connects residents to the right program across the five-county Gateway region (Bath, Menifee, Montgomery, Morgan, Rowan). Most services have no income test; a voluntary donation may be requested but services are not denied for inability to pay.
What you'll need
- Proof of age 60+ (driver's license, state ID, or birth certificate)
- Proof of Bath County residency
