How to apply for Pennyrile Area Senior Center & Nutrition Services

Pennyrile Area Agency on Aging & Independent Living (Pennyrile Area Development District; services delivered by Pennyrile Allied Community Services)

Who it's for

Through the Pennyrile Area Agency on Aging & Independent Living, Kentuckians 60 and older in Caldwell County can use Older Americans Act (Title III) and state-funded aging services. These include congregate (group) and home-delivered meals, a county senior center that serves as a local focal point for socialization, transportation, outreach, information and assistance, educational classes, and health-promotion activities, plus benefits counseling, legal assistance, family-caregiver support, and the long-term-care ombudsman. Day-to-day services are delivered locally by Pennyrile Allied Community Services. Most services have no income test; a voluntary donation may be requested but services are not denied for inability to pay.

What you'll need

  • Proof of age 60+ (driver's license, state ID, or birth certificate)
