How to apply for Purchase Area Senior Center & Nutrition Services

Purchase Area Agency on Aging & Independent Living (Purchase Area Development District)

Who it's for

Through the Purchase Area Agency on Aging & Independent Living, Kentuckians 60 and older in Graves County can use Older Americans Act (Title III) supportive and nutrition services. These include congregate (group) and home-delivered noon meals, a county senior center that serves as a local focal point for information, recreation, and socialization, health-promotion activities, family-caregiver support, benefits counseling on Medicare and other programs (SHIP), and an information-and-referral line for aging and disability services. Most services have no income test; a voluntary donation may be requested but services are not denied for inability to pay.

What you'll need

  • Proof of age 60+ (driver's license, state ID, or birth certificate)
  • Proof of Graves County residency
