How to apply for KIPDA Area Senior Nutrition & Center Services

Who it's for

Through KIPDA's Area Agency on Aging & Independent Living, Kentuckians 60 and older in Spencer County can use Older Americans Act (Title III) aging services. The Senior Nutrition Program provides congregate (group) meals and home-delivered meals (Meals on Wheels), and KIPDA also offers senior centers, in-home services, family-caregiver support, health-promotion activities, and State Health Insurance Assistance (SHIP) benefits counseling. In Spencer County the meal program is delivered locally by Multi-Purpose Community Action Agency. Nutrition services are open to people 60 and older (a spouse of any age and disabled dependents may also be served); there is no income test, though a voluntary donation may be requested.
