Who it's for
Sherman County Community Transit gives priority rides to seniors and people with disabilities, with others riding as space allows. It takes riders from across Sherman County to The Dalles for shopping and medical appointments, to Portland and other cities for medical appointments, and on a Tuesday shopping bus to The Dalles. There are no required fares, but donations are welcome. Reserve rides at least 24 to 48 hours ahead, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 541-565-3553.
