How to apply for Collin County Indigent Health Care Program (CIHCP)
Collin County Commissioners Court — administers the County Indigent Health Care Program; located in McKinney
Who it's for
The Collin County Indigent Healthcare Program is DISTINCTIVE among Texas county CIHCPs: it uses a 100% Federal Poverty Level income gate — more generous than the 21% statutory minimum used by most other TX county CIHCPs (Hidalgo, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, etc.). The program covers basic healthcare services including up to three prescriptions per month with lab work and X-rays when needed. Apply at 825 N. McDonald St., STE 110, McKinney TX 75069 or by calling 972-548-4702 (M-Th 8am-4pm). Office is closed Friday-Sunday. Once a completed application + documentation is received, eligibility decisions are made within 14 business days.
