How to apply for Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) Corpus Christi — Senior Reduced Fare + B-Line Paratransit
Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CCRTA / RTA) — the principal public transit operator for the Corpus Christi metro and Nueces County; operates fixed-route bus, light rail (in development), and B-Line ADA paratransit service
Who it's for
RTA Corpus Christi operates fixed-route bus service across Nueces County (Corpus Christi metro, Robstown, Port Aransas, and surrounding areas) plus B-Line ADA-eligible paratransit. Seniors AGE 65+, Medicare card holders, and persons with disabilities qualify for reduced fares. RTA also provides flexible neighborhood transit. Apply for senior reduced fare ID or B-Line paratransit certification at the RTA Customer Service Center (1806 S. Alameda Street, Corpus Christi) or by calling 361-883-2287. Rural Nueces and adjacent Coastal Bend counties are served by REAL (Rural Economic Assistance League) or CACOST regional rural transit.
RTA's senior fare reduction is automatic on age proof. B-Line ADA paratransit requires separate certification.
