Who it's for
Patrick County offers real estate tax relief (exemption) for homeowners who are 65 or older or permanently disabled. Total household income must be $32,000 or less, and net worth (not counting the home) must be $100,000 or less. Up to $500 in real estate tax exemption for owners age 65+ or 100% disabled meeting the income and net-worth criteria. Applications due March 1 annually to the Commissioner of Revenue, 106 Rucker Street, Room 220, Stuart. Apply through the local commissioner of the revenue or assessment office.
