How to apply for Anniston Changers Home Repair Grant — Calhoun County in Alabama
The Anniston Changers, through the City of Anniston Fund at the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama (CFNEA)
Who it's for
This grant helps Anniston homeowners pay for small repairs that fix a health or safety hazard in the home they live in. You can ask for up to $2,500. You must own and live in a home inside Anniston city limits, and be over 60, have a mental or physical disability, or have a low income. If you are picked, you find and hire your own contractor. The grant usually opens for applications two or three times a year. Apply through the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama. Call 256-231-5160, ext. 24, with questions.
Only for homes inside Anniston city limits, not all of Calhoun County. Low-income homeowners under 60 without a disability can also apply; the page does not publish an income limit, so this check screens on age or disability only. The grant opens only a few times a year, and the foundation picks who gets funded.
