How to apply for Energy Net Electric Bill Discount (Trinity PUD customers) in California
Trinity Public Utilities District (Trinity PUD), administered by Trinity County Health and Human Services — Adult Services
Who it's for
Energy Net gives a discount on the electric bill to low-income Trinity Public Utilities District (Trinity PUD) customers. Household income must be at or below 150% of the federal poverty level for your family size. Only 125 households get the discount at a time, and applicants with the lowest incomes come first. The discount lasts six months, and you must reapply every six months. Send proof of gross income (such as pay stubs or a Social Security benefit letter) with the application; bank statements are not accepted. Call Adult Services at 530-623-8209 for a paper application.
Energy Net is only for Trinity PUD electric customers. Only 125 households get the discount, ranked from lowest to highest income, so meeting the income limit does not guarantee a discount. Trinity PUD sets the number of discounts and the discount amount.
