Who it's for

The Nantucket Regional Transit Authority (NRTA) runs The WAVE bus service across Nantucket. All WAVE rides are free through the end of 2027, paid for by MassDOT. When fares return, seniors 65 and older, people with disabilities, veterans, and active military can buy reduced passes (for example, an Annual Reduced pass for $100) at the NRTA office, 20 R South Water St., Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Riders with disabilities can use ADA paratransit: book the day before or up to 14 days ahead by calling 508-325-5113, option 1.
