BeST Transit (Endless Mountains Transportation Authority)
Who it's for
BeST Transit (formerly Endless Mountains Transportation Authority, or EMTA) runs fixed-route buses and door-to-door Shared Ride service in Bradford, Sullivan and Tioga counties. Riders 65 and older ride fixed-route buses free through the PA Senior Free Transit Program. In the Senior Shared Ride program, open to riders 65+ for almost any trip Monday to Friday, the Pennsylvania Lottery pays 85% of the fare and the Area Agency on Aging covers the rest, so the rider pays a $1 co-pay per trip. To sign up or book a ride, call BeST Transit at 1-800-242-3484 or 570-888-7330. Bradford AAA: 570-265-6121.
