How to apply for Carbon Transit (CT Bus + CT Shared Ride, operated by LANta) (Carbon County) in Pennsylvania

Who it's for

Carbon Transit runs the CT Bus and door-to-door CT Shared Ride service in Carbon County. LANta runs it for the county, and Transdev drives the routes. Seniors 65 and older ride the CT Bus free with a Senior Transit ID card. On CT Shared Ride, seniors 65+ pay 15% of the fare, and the Pennsylvania Lottery pays the other 85%. To get a Senior Transit ID or sign up, call 888-253-8333 (option 4 for Carbon Transit). Riders who are already registered can book trips at 610-253-8333, up to 14 days ahead. You can also call the Carbon County Area Agency on Aging at 610-824-7830.
