How to apply for Senior bus (Carbon County Senior Center) — Carbon in Utah
Carbon County Senior Services
Who it's for
The Carbon County Senior Center provides bus rides for people 60 and older. The suggested donation is $1.00 per ride. Call by 9 a.m. on the day you need a ride, and call ahead for appointments; two days' notice is best, and doctor visits get first priority. If you use a wheelchair, say so when you call. Grocery shopping trips run on Thursdays, with a limit of four bags. Riders under 60 need the director's approval. A bus liability waiver must be filled out before your first ride. Call the Price center at 435-636-3202 (open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) or the East Carbon center at 435-888-2194.
Rides depend on bus space; if the bus is full, not every request can be met. This is a senior center service, not public transit.
