Who it's for

The Alternatives case manager helps frail older people stay at home with home health aides, homemaker and personal care, and emergency response systems. The Caregiver Support Program helps people caring for a loved one 60 or older. Veteran Directed Home and Community Based Services are available for eligible veterans. The long-term care ombudsman (435-722-5300) speaks up for people living in nursing and assisted living facilities. In Daggett County, a lunch is served on Wednesdays at noon at the Manila Senior Center on Highway 43 (435-784-3143); call ahead, because the state aging list shows the Manila center as temporarily closed.
